RWE+You is a user-friendly app that revolutionizes the preboarding phase of employment. It provides a seamless transition from contract signing to becoming acquainted with new colleagues, offering an interactive video showcasing the workplace. With a simple tap, users can feel at home in their new job even before their first day. The app incorporates inviting action cards and draws inspiration from popular social media apps, resulting in a modern and innovative user experience.

About the design

RWE+You reimagines the often neglected pre-boarding stage of the employee lifecycle. In today's digital world, where job interviews are conducted via video calls and new employees engage with web-based e-learning tools, the period between accepting a job offer and starting the job is typically characterized by manual actions, limited information transfer, and anticipation. KulingConnect addresses these shortcomings through an intuitive and helpful approach. It introduces users to their new company and colleagues, provides valuable information for their first day, and streamlines administrative processes before their official start.

From early sketches to a running service

Melting Experience guided RWE along the whole process:
from the initial idea of bringing digitalization to HR process even before the job starts, over user Interviews across Europe, building a state-of-the-art react web app up to the corproation wide rollout of the app.

The RWE+You concept – known under the project title “Kuling Connect” was considered as one of the five best designs worldwide across all disciplines (digital and product design) at the 2023 Red Dot Concept Award.

The project won the prestigeous Red Dot Best-of-the-Best Award and was also nominated for the Luminary Award with only 4 other design works worldwide.
